Hablar de la mujer zuliana es describir una serie de cualidades que muchos autores intentaron plasmar a través de varias canciones, poemas o gaitas que sin importar el tiempo transcurrido siempre quedan cortos, pues cada quien tiene un concepto muy personal para describir a las féminas de la región.
Pero, hay algo en lo que coinciden estos compositores y es que todos describen a las damas zulianas como guerreras que combaten los desafíos de la vida con una sonrisa. Por eso hoy 8 de marzo, cuando el mundo celebra el Día Internacional de la Mujer, Foco Informativo decidió conmemorar la fecha con un par mujeres que encajan a la perfección la anterior descripción.
Ambas entrevistadas comparten su amor por la vida, su afición al maquillaje, las fiestas y las ganas de motivar a los demás a seguir adelante pese a las obstáculos que la vida impoga.
Una de ellas es Estefany Moreno, una joven de 27 años, quien tuvo que enfrentar el cáncer dos veces. La primera vez tenía sólo 12 años y lo superó, sin embargo, 14 años después de ganar la batalla contra la enfermedad esta aparece nuevamente en otra parte de su cuerpo, pero ella aún sigue en pie.
“Mi diagnóstico es Osteosarcoma fibroblástico en el pulmón izquierdo, diagnóstico que se me realiza en mayo de 2021, luego de 14 años en remisión. A los 12 años a mí me hicieron el mismo diagnóstico con el mismo nombre, Osteosarcoma fibroblástico de fémur derecho, a partir de allí comienzo una serie de proceso en los que mi vida comenzó con ese cambio”, indicó.
Explicó que cada día de su día es como el de cualquier otro joven de su edad, aunque admitió que fue obligada por el padecimiento a poner en pausa su carrera como odontólogo ya que al trabajar cerca de la boca de una persona corre el riesgo de que se retrase el tratamiento y eso sería una situación nada favorable.
“Soy muy creyente de que este tipo de enfermedad llega como un mensajero para hacer algunos cambios en la vida. Si estuve sana por 14 años y después la enfermedad volvió llegar a mi vida es por algo que la vida me quiere decir”, señaló la joven.
Ella se describe como una persona alegre, carismática y que de alguna manera tiene esa luz ante muchas personas por lo que vive.
“El cáncer no me puede quitar mi esencia como mujer. Me gusta compartir parte de mí vida, de lo que yo puedo hacer actualmente para motivar a otros y ayudar a otros”, afirmó.
Moreno aseguró que la mujer zuliana tiende a ser muy alegre que trata de buscar lo positivo dentro de lo negativo.
“Hay que estar muy orgullosamente de lo somos, hay que quererse, hay que fortalecerse porque creo que podemos llegar a decaer, pero nosotros tenemos de por si un autoestima que debe prevalecer porque somos como una flor. A veces podemos ser una semillita chiquita, pero de repente florecemos y eso nos hace ver bien ante el mundo”, subrayó.
Lo hermoso de la simplicidad
Por otro lado está Daniela Romero, de 35 años, quien padece osteogénesis imperfecta, también conocida como la enfermedad de los huesos de cristal. Describe su día como el de cualquier otra persona adulta con deberes y responsabilidades.
“Si tengo trabajo que hacer lo hago, sin tengo tareas que pasar las paso, a veces me dedico a subir estados referentes a cada día o en las redes sociales y bueno así estoy. Vendo materiales de ferretería cuando puedo, básicamente a sí es mi día a día, en la tarde, como no me gusta estar encerrada, salgo un rato a mirar a la gente y cuando me aburro, me da sueño entro”, detalló.
Asegura que vivir es motivación de todos los días para “echarle pichón” ya que Dios le da una sola oportunidad a la gente, y no es posible pasarla entre quejas.
Como muchos hoy en día, Romero manejas redes sociales y a través de ellas, al igual que Moreno, envía mensaje motivacionales para que las personas sepan las cosas buenas que tiene la vida.
“La verdad yo no era una persona de redes sociales. Todo comenzó primero en Facebook con mi hermana. Ella me abrió Facebook, recuerdo que era para un concurso de fotografía y ella me decía que concursara, pero como es la gente que hace bullyng y todas esas cosas no consideré que estaba muy preparada, pero ella con todo y eso subió las fotos y cuando vine a ver tenía como dos mil solicitudes de amistad en una noche. Me dolía el dedo de darle a ‘aceptar’”, señaló.
Su intención en las redes sociales es lograr que las personas tomen consciencia y se eduquen, porque en la actualidad en el mundo hay mucho tabú con temas con la discapacidad, hay mucha gente que hace bastante daño con el bullyng y hay gente que desconoce lo relacionado con eso.
“Yo me enfoco en buscar que la gente vea que yo puedo hacer muchas cosas, que puedo salir día a día adelante como cualquier otra persona y que si yo puedo ellos también”, indicó.
Aseguró que en su transitar por las redes sociales solo encontró dos “hater”, pero no les prestó mayor atención.
“Siempre digo uno decide lo que uno quiere que le afecte es decir, yo decido lo que me afecta y como no me afectan no les presto atención”, puntualizó esta dama que reside en el municipio San Francisco.
Finalmente Romero aprovechó la oportunidad para felicitar a las mujeres en su día por el excelente trabajo que hacen en medio de una crisis como la que vive Venezuela y que en muchos casos lo hacen solas y con hijos.
“Bueno las felicito porque he visto mujeres que no tienen marido y tienen hijo y ellas llegan a salir adelante sin marido y con hijos en esta situación país que estamos pasando”.
