El alcalde de Maracaibo, Rafael Ramírez Colina, explicó este lunes, 26 de febrero, durante su balance semanal de gestión y transparencia número 97, cómo se deben solicitar ante el Servicio Desconcentrado Municipal de Administración Tributaria (Sedemat) los beneficios fiscales al participar en una obra de interés público en la ciudad.
Ramírez Colina detalló que, en primer lugar, los contribuyentes deben presentar por escrito, la propuesta de inversión de la obra de interés público ante las oficinas del Sedemat en Valle Frío. Posterior a esta solicitud, la Dirección de Ingeniería Municipal (DIM) procederá a inspeccionar la obra en la que se levantarán los detalles y se revisará el presupuesto según el tabulador oficial de la Alcaldía. “En la visita se establecen los parámetros técnicos que debe tener la empresa que les vaya a prestar el servicio al sector, con el fin de garantizar la calidad de los trabajos”, destacó Ramírez Colina.
Realizada la inspección, el Sedemat presenta el presupuesto de inversión al contribuyente para su aprobación. De ser aceptado, la empresa suscribe un convenio con la Alcaldía para acceder a los beneficios fiscales. Luego se realiza la planificación de la obra y se ejecuta con la supervisión permanentemente del municipio, representada por un ingeniero del DIM. Al finalizar la obra se realiza una nueva inspección para certificar que se haya ejecutado correctamente.
Como último paso el Sedemat corrobora la información y aplica los beneficios referidos a la rebaja fiscal del 60 % de la inversión realizada, que solo podrán utilizarse para el pago del impuesto de actividades económicas. Esta será válida en el ejercicio respectivo y en los tres años siguientes, hasta su agotamiento, pudiendo descontar en un solo ejercicio el 50 % del monto del impuesto que debe pagar.
“Esta iniciativa ha sido bien recibida por el sector privado y nos beneficia a todos, tanto a la comunidad porque cada día su paso está mucho mejor; como al sector privado porque al estar mejor su vía, su actividad comercial mejora y, por supuesto, mejora la calidad de vida en la ciudad porque efectivamente vamos teniendo una Maracaibo recuperada en materia vial”, enfatizó el alcalde de Maracaibo.
