Apagones generales, racionamientos eléctricos sin previo aviso y fluctuaciones fueron el pan de cada día para los zulianos en 2021. Una crisis que se instaló en la entidad y que se niega a desaparecer, pese a las promesas del Ejecutivo nacional.
Desde 2019 con el blackout que vivió el país, el 7 de marzo, por un supuesto “ataque” al Sistema Eléctrico Nacional (SEN), según información oficial, otros estados de Venezuela empezaron a “padecer” lo que ya los zulianos tenía al menos 10 años sufriendo.
El ciudadano no tiene mayores “esperanzas” que la situación cambie para 2022 sin embargo, están conscientes que deben exigir que la electricidad mejore, porque ya las pérdidas de electrodomésticos y todo lo negativo que implica estar “sin luz” hasta por más de 12 horas los tiene “hartos”.
Simaray Cardozo perdió su trabajo de 10 años por el apagón de 2019. El hotel en el laboraba fue saqueado y destruido en su totalidad. De este episodio no hubo respuestas de las autoridades. Dos años después, la ejecutiva recuerda con tristeza la experiencia que obtuvo y el trago “muy amargo” que pasó al quedar desempleada.
Además de la pérdida del trabajo, la crisis eléctrica también ha hecho que la joven profesional haya tenido que reparar en varias ocasiones “con mucho sacrificio” nevera y aire acondicionado por las fluctuaciones.
“Siempre que se va la electricidad temo que va a pasar lo mismo que en 2019. Cuando se va la luz me voy a las redes para ver si esto es nacional o no. Siempre ando alarmada por eso”, relató Cardozo en entrevista a Foco Informativo.
Dice que el sector donde vive lo tiene “castigado” con los racionamientos, pero que en comparación con años anteriores “por lo menos” bajaron de seis a tres horas lo que Corpoelec llama el Plan de Administración de Carga (PAC).
“En 2021 todos los días, prácticamente, como hasta agosto o septiembre tuvimos racionamientos eléctricos nocturnos”, detalla la joven que vive en la segunda etapa del sector Cuatricentenario, de la parroquia Francisco Eugenio Bustamante, de Maracaibo.
Cardozo, que vive sola con su mamá, señala que los zulianos merecen un servicio eléctrico “digno” de una “población que padece de problemas de agua, gas y basura”.
No está negada a pagar el servicio eléctrico con el único propósito de “ponerle fin a la pesadilla de estar sin luz”.
Nadie repone lo que se daña
Las familias repiten que el daño de los electrodomésticos nadie lo repone. En la casa de Dianne Storey, representante de ventas de una distribuidora de alimentos, de cinco aires acondicionados que tenían ahora solo queda uno. Detalla que el de su cuarto lo mandó a reparar dos veces gastando unos 250 dólares y al final no sirvió de nada. “Ahorita no tengo aire, con las fluctuaciones perdí las reparaciones. Cada vez que se va la luz corremos a desconectar todo, pero la mayoría de las veces no da tiempo”.
A pesar de que las fallas eléctricas persistieron en 2021, Storey considera que este año “fue menos tormentoso” que en años anteriores. También dice que la experiencia del apagón general de 2019 la “mantiene a la expectativa” cuando todo queda a oscuras en su sector.
Storey que vive con sus padres y sus dos hermanos en la segunda etapa de la urbanización La Victoria hace un llamado a las autoridades para que en 2022 se dedique a la solución del problema eléctrico, “el servicio se debe empezar a cobrar para ir realizando la respectiva recuperación del sistema alejando la corrupción”.
Según información difundida por el Comité de Afectados por los Apagones el país, hasta noviembre, culmina el año con 22 mil 978 apagones, 178 mil 92 fallas eléctricas y 12 caídas del servicio en toda Venezuela.
El daño es notorio, y aunque se insiste en recurrir al “sabotaje” como justificación cuando el país se apaga, los expertos señalan que los estudios y seguimientos indican que la situación se debe al abandono de los espacios y la falta de personal capacitado para la atención de las fallas.
El Zulia seguirá siendo uno de los estados más golpeados por la crisis eléctrica, porque tiene gran demanda y baja autogeneración. En el último parte ofrecido por el exgobernador Omar Prieto, en la presentación de lo que sería su plan de gobierno de resultar reelecto, señaló que la entidad contaba con 750 megavatios de autogeneración luego que el 7 de noviembre se incluyeran 150 megavatios tras la puesta en funcionamiento de la TZII.
