La temperatura en Maracaibo es agobiante, y aún más cuando ni un ventilador puede mantenerse encendido debido a que las personas no se confían por la inestabilidad eléctrica.
Ya para la 1.12 de la tarde, los marabinos reportan dos fluctuaciones o denominados bajones. El primero se registró a las 12.05 del mediodía y el segundo cerca de la 1.00 de la tarde.
No había transcurrido una hora cuando a las 2.03 de la tarde, exactamente, se generó el tercer bajón y a los 10 minutos, 2.13 de la tarde, se produjo la cuarta fluctuación.
En algunos sectores de la capital, para el oeste y sur, el tercer bajón se convirtió en apagón.
La Victoria, Los Olivos, Cuatricentenario, barrio Bolívar, Sol Amada, Fundación Mendoza, Sabaneta, Altos de la Vanega y otros, son algunos de los sectores que quedaron sin servicio tras la última intermitencia eléctrica.
El servicio se restituyó progresivamente, sin embargo, a las 5.43 otra fluctuación, la quinta para algunas zonas, volvió a dejar sectores sin electricidad.
La situación se repitió durante todo el día. Caída la noche ya usuarios de las redes contabilizaban al menos diez fluctuaciones hasta que a las 7.53 de la noche, Maracaibo y otros ocho municipios de la Costa Occidental del Lago reportaron un apagón general que duró entre 40 minutos y una hora.
En los estados de WhatsApp y redes sociales los ciudadanos expresan el malestar por la situación que en las últimas semanas se ha hecho repetitiva.
«Desconectando y conectando por temor a que se sigan dañando los corotos (aparatos electrodomésticos) que nadie nos repone», declara Ruperto, habitante de la urbanización La Victoria de Maracaibo
Cuenta que el único aire acondicionado que les queda lo mantienen apagado por prevención. «La nevera, el frezzer y hasta el rourter de Internet también porque ya uno se nos dañó y tuvimos que pagar 15 dólares más para reponerlo».
Detalla que mantienen encendidos, por el calor, los ventiladores que están pegados a regletas. Así como viven la situación con las fluctuaciones en casa de Ruperto, esto se repite en muchos hogares de Maracaibo este sábado.

El domingo 19 en Zulia se generó una falla en la subestación El Tablazo que dejó sin electricidad a los municipios de la Costa Occidental del Lago de Maracaibo y vario de la Costa Oriental.
El gobernador Omar Prieto aseguró que la falla había sido «externa» sin embargo, no se dio detalle de lo que realmente había ocurrido. La Corporación Eléctrica Nacional en la cuenta de Twitter aseguró que se había generado una falla en El Tablazo.
El mandatario regional presumió de que el sistema se recuperó en tiempo récord gracias a que el «sistema está más robustecido en la región».
Este sábado el estado Falcón también reportó un apagón desde la medianoche.
