El gobernador Omar Prieto Fernández junto al alcalde Dirwings Arrieta lideró este miércoles 29 de septiembre el despliegue del Programa BanZulia, en el municipio San Francisco, donde fueron otorgados medicamentos casa a casa para familias del barrio Limpia Norte.
Prieto Fernández explicó que la jornada ofreció atención médica general, captación de casos para la Misión Sonrisa, Misión Milagro, optometría, lentes correctivos, entrega de ayudas técnicas y corte de cabello para niños y adultos.
Al respecto, el mandatario regional quien estuvo acompañado por la Primera Combatiente Jessica Lucena manifestó que el programa se formó y creció en San Francisco para extenderse por toda la entidad. Afirmó que actualmente BanZulia posee 23 mil beneficiados en la localidad a quienes se les otorga medicamentos para la diabetes e hipertendion además de kits anticovid y alimentos.
«Este programa sólo en san francisco beneficia a 23 mil pacientes, hasta ahora solo llega a 19 municipios y dios mediante podremos cubrir los 21 municipios» expresó.
Por su parte, el Alcalde de San Francisco, Dirwings Arrieta añadió, «Banzulia tiene un corazón rojo que late en cada una de las comunidades y tienen 3 días desplegados llevando el medicamentos gratuitos a pacientes con enfermedades como la diabetes y la hipertensión», comentó.
