Herardo José Rojas, de 27 años de edad, cegado por los celos, asesinó a la actual pareja de su exesposa en Higuerote, estado Miranda.
La víctima quedó identificada como Melbin Rubén Rada Tovar, de 29 años, informó el director del Cuerpo de Investigaciones Científicas Penales y Criminalísticas, Douglas Rico.
Funcionarios de la Coordinación de Investigaciones de Delitos Contra las Personas de la Delegación Municipal Higuerote, se encargaron de las respectivas investigaciones.
A través de su cuenta de Instagram, Rico detalló que Rojas acosaba constantemente a Rada Tovar, pues no aceptaba que este fuese la nueva pareja de su ex.
Por esa razón, junto a otro hombre, aún por identificar y detener, persiguió a su víctima a bordo de una motocicleta y lo asesinó.
El homicida usó armas de fuego para someter a Rada Tovar y le quitó la vida al dispararle varias veces.
La captura del homicida se realizó en el sector el Cocal, de la parroquia Higuerote, Municipio Brión, estado Miranda.
El caso quedó a la orden de la Fiscalía Octava del Ministerio Público del estado Miranda.
