Un hombre invidente quedó detenido por funcionarios del Servicio de Vigilancia y Patrullaje a pie de la Policía Municipal de Maracaibo (Polimaracaibo) del parque Vereda del Lago por haber cometido actos lascivos contra una niña de 11 años, la tarde de este miércoles 6 de marzo.
El aprehendido fue denunciado por un ciudadano que paseaba por el parque y cerca de una heladería se percató que en un bohío en construcción se encontraba un hombre con discapacidad visual, besando y acariciando por la zona del cuello a una niña que estaba sentada sus piernas.
De inmediato, los oficiales se dirigieron a la dirección indicada, donde encontraron y detuvieron al hombre.
La victima fue entrevistada por la Consejera Segunda del Consejo de Protección del Niño, Niña y Adolescentes, quien informó que la infante había sido victima de abuso sexual sin penetración.
Como Paulo Antonio Araujo Márquez, de 59 años, quedó identificado el detenido, quien fue llevado al Centro de Coordinación Policial Noreste, quedando a disposición del Ministerio Público.
