La alineación de casi todos los planetas del sistema solar será visible en Año Nuevo

Desde el pasado día de Navidad hasta el 7 de enero, todos los planetas del sistema solar excepto Marte aparecen alineados en el cielo, informa el Planetario de Moscú.

«Urano, Neptuno, Júpiter, Saturno y el hermoso Venus brillan como una guirnalda de Año Nuevo, dejando poco a poco el horizonte tras el Sol. No muy lejos de Venus están Mercurio y Plutón, que también participan en la alineación, pero están ocultos por los brillantes rayos del Sol y no son observables«, indica la institución.

Según se precisa, las mejores condiciones para observar la alineación se registran más al sur, aunque también es visible en la latitud de Moscú. En cuanto a Marte, se ve durante todos estos días, pero por las mañanas.

Entre otros espectáculos astronómicos de los próximos días, el planetario destaca la lluvia de meteoros de las cuadrántidas, con un ritmo de uno o dos meteoros por minuto en su pico, así como el mayor acercamiento del cometa C/2021 A1 (Leonard), que se espera para el 3 de enero, y el eclipse lunar de Marte que tendrá lugar el 4 de enero y durará 40 minutos.

«El 8 de diciembre, el planeta se encontrará frente al Sol, y la medianoche de ese día la Luna llena se ubicará junto a Marte. Ambos astros brillarán sobre el luminoso Aldebarán y las hermosas constelaciones invernales: Tauro, Orión, Canis Mayor«, agregan los astrónomos.
