El aula magna de la Universidad Rafael Urdaneta fue el escenario ideal para que los defensores del voto juraran su compromiso con resguardar la voluntad de cambio de los marabinos. Manuel Rosales Guerrero, candidato a la gobernación del Zulia y Rafael Ramírez, a la Alcaldía de Maracaibo, se dirigieron ante los defensores del voto, como actores de confianza en el venidero proceso electoral.
“Ustedes van a estar representando a nuestros hijos, a nuestros nietos, al futuro y vamos a ganar estruendosamente, porque el Zulia va a volver a brillar, va a ser grande, va a ser poderoso como siempre ha debido ser”, dijo Rosales Guerrero antes de pedirle a los asistentes que juraran su compromiso con la defensa del voto.
Según explicó Rafael Ramírez, candidato a la Alcaldía de Maracaibo, la Unidad cuenta con mil doscientos 66 testigos y dos mil quinientos 32 suplentes en los 397 centros de votación de la ciudad; así como un gran contingente humano que estará brindando asistencia electoral y apoyo territorial.
“En cada uno de ustedes está puesta la esperanza del trabajo que vamos a realizar para devolverle la alegría a Maracaibo, la esperanza a la gente. Ustedes son nuestros pitcher cerradores, son ustedes los que garantizan el juego, los que van a hacer que lo ganemos, son los que van a cambiarle la realidad a los marabinos” precisó.
María Gabriela Retamosa, presidenta de la Facultad de Veterinaria de la Universidad del Zulia y como una de las garantes en la parroquia Coquivacoa, se dirigió a los presentes, a quienes calificó como los “héroes de Maracaibo y del Zulia” que blindarán cada centro de votación este 21 de noviembre.
“Durante nuestra campaña hemos dicho, ese es, es Manuel y Rafael; pero hoy son ustedes los defensores del voto los que nos brindan la plena confianza de que vamos a lograr el cambio, ustedes van a ser el corazón, las piernas, los ojos, de cada marabino que va a votar. Ustedes son los promotores del cambio. Todos tenemos un papel muy importante pero ustedes estarán ahí velando por cada voluntad de cada persona que va a votar, porque Maracaibo va a votar, el Zulia va a votar porque queremos cambio”, refirió.
Asimismo, Jesús Enrique Colina, dirigente político que junto a su equipo de defensores cuidará los votos en la parroquia Francisco Eugenio Bustamante, reiteró que la dignidad de toda la fuerza de Maracaibo no se negocia y así se reflejará en el cambio electoral, “a dignidad no tiene precio y este 21 de noviembre, nosotros como testigos vamos a defender cada mesa y cada municipio de cada parroquia. Somos los testigos, garantes, de velar por esa confianza depositada”.
Rosales alerta sobre financiamiento de los “destructores” contra la Unidad”.
El candidato unitario a la gobernación refirió que actualmente los “destructores de Maracaibo y del Zulia”, en alusión a Willy Casanova y Omar Prieto, se encuentran financiando a supuestos candidatos sin respaldo popular ni músculo político para generar confusión. Reiteró que el único candidato de la Unidad, y su llave para Maracaibo, es Rafael Ramírez.
“Los destructores están financiando debajo de la mesa a candidatos que no tienen vida ni chance, pero aquí no hay confusión, el único candidato aquí en Maracaibo es Rafael Ramírez, quien va a ser el nuevo alcalde de Maracaibo”, apuntó.
