Fallece médica zuliana tras contraer COVID-19

La doctora Consuelo Valero Martínez, médica zuliana, falleció ayer martes en la mañana a causa del COVID19.

La información la suministró Freddy Pachano, director de posgrado de la facultad de Medicina de la Universidad del Zulia, esta mañana a través de su cuenta de Twitter.

Durante su mensaje de condolencia, el galeno explicó que Valero fue profesora Emeritus y exdirectora de la del Instituto de Investigaciones Biológicas de la máxima casa de estudios de la región.

Con el fallecimiento de esta profesional de la salud, suman 67 galenos muertos en la región desde que inició la pandemia hace más de un año y la tercera que muere a causa del virus en lo que va de mes.

El Colegio de Médicos del estado Zulia emitió una nota de condolencia en la que lamentó la perdida y se solidarizó con los familiares de la especialista médica.
