El servicio de contenidos en streaming Disney+ sigue ganando mercado y alcanzó el hito de 100 millones de suscriptores a nivel global 16 meses después de su lanzamiento, según informó la compañía Walt Disney en un evento para inversores este martes.
“El enorme éxito de Disney+, que ahora ha sobrepasado los 100 millones de suscriptores, nos ha inspirado a ser incluso más ambiciosos y a incrementar de manera importante nuestra inversión en el desarrollo de contenido de alta calidad”, dijo su consejero delegado, Bob Chapek.
“De hecho, nos hemos puesto una meta de más de 100 nuevos títulos por año, y esto incluye Disney Animation, Disney Live Action, Marvel, Star Wars y National Geographic. Nuestro negocio de ‘directo al consumidor’ es la mayor prioridad de la compañía, y nuestra robusta cartera de contenido seguirá alimentando su crecimiento”, agregó, de acuerdo con un comunicado.
