Casanova centrará su trabajo para la reelección en servicios públicos y recuperación económica

Como candidato a la reelección por el Partido Socialista Unido de Venezuela (PSUV), el alcalde de Maracaibo, Willy Casanova, presentó este martes 10 de agosto las cuatro líneas de trabajo propuestas para el nuevo plan del gobierno municipal 2021/2025.

En un encuentro con la prensa realizado en la plaza Bolívar de Maracaibo, en el casco central, Casanova explicó que su gestión de gobierno comenzó por recuperar avenidas, espacios, sistema de salud y servicios públicos para poder avanzar hacia la Maracaibo del futuro y consolidar su desarrollo.

“Uno de los principales problemas en la ciudad es el suministro de agua, que pese a no ser competencia directa de la municipalidad, seguiremos trabajando junto a Hidrolago para resolverlo definitivamente”, resaltó el Alcalde como parte de su primera línea de acción que abarca la continuidad de la recuperación de los servicios públicos.

Como segunda línea de trabajo resaltó que desde ya se avanza en el diseño de un plan de recuperación económica de la ciudad, para lo cual pidió el apoyo del pueblo maracaibero, de las empresas públicas y privadas, para lograr el avance en este sector.

Casanova indicó que como tercera línea de acción propone un plan de desarrollo social para continuar ofreciendo atención médica a todos los maracaiberos y garantizar que todo el pueblo maracaibero sea vacunado contra la COVID-19. También se continuará brindando el apoyo social a los sectores más vulnerables.

La cuarta línea de trabajo incluye grandes proyectos para la ciudad, entre los que Casanova destacó convertir la terminal de pasajeros de Maracaibo en un espacio para las rutas urbanas, con el fin de mejorar el transporte público en la ciudad y una nueva terminal para las rutas interurbanas.

«Una hermosa victoria»

La elección de Willy Casanova como candidato el pasado 8A, demostró la unidad política dentro del PSUV al convertirse en el candidato con mayor porcentaje de votos en la región zuliana y en el país.

Willy Casanova agradeció a toda la militancia del PSUV por la hermosa victoria del 8A, en la cual obtuvo 77 por ciento de los votos gracias al respaldo de un partido bien estructurado.

“A los 12 mil 700 líderes de calles, a las 409 Unidades de Batalla Bolívar Chávez, a los mil 601 jefes de comunidades, a cada miembro del partido y al pueblo que participó en estas elecciones abiertas le doy las gracias por esta victoria perfecta”, expresó.

En ese sentido, expresó que “todos unidos como una gran fuerza política nos integraremos a esta campaña para consolidar el gran triunfo del 21 de noviembre”.

Casanova recordó que faltan 110 días para las elecciones municipales y regionales, por lo que desde ya se está preparando un plan para dialogar con las organizaciones políticas y sociales sobre la Maracaibo del futuro.
