El diplomático fue recibido en avión privado en el Comando Aéreo de Transporte Militar (CATAM), por el viceministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Colombia, Francisco Coy.
Más temprano, Blinken reseñó en su cuenta de Twitter que “nos dirigimos a Colombia para construir sobre nuestra asociación vital y fuerte. Los lazos vibrantes entre nuestra gente tocan prácticamente todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas: nuestras economías, seguridad, respeto por los derechos humanos y laborales, y esfuerzos para construir un hemisferio más democrático y equitativo”.
