Alcalde Casanova: Le hemos devuelto los corredores viales a Maracaibo

Concluida la recuperación integral de 14 de los principales corredores viales de Maracaibo, más 5 en proceso y 4 por iniciar, la Alcaldía , en articulación con la misión Venezuela Bella, le devuelve al pueblo el sentido de pertenencia, le garantiza la seguridad de los espacios públicos y propicia el desarrollo económico de la ciudad.

Durante la rueda de prensa celebrada este 20 de septiembre de 2021, el alcalde Willy Casanova señaló que hasta el momento la recuperación integral de los corredores viales beneficiaron a más de 600 mil personas, pues se ha mejorado el asfaltado, la iluminación, los servicios públicos y se han atendido 39 parques y plazas en los alrededores de las vías, que se han concretado gracias a la inversión propia de la municipalidad y al apoyo del gobierno nacional y regional.

“Recuperar los corredores viales estimula el comercio, restaurantes, hoteles, ahora también casinos, pues se vinculan a concreción del sueño para que nazcan, crezcan y se desarrollen nuevos emprendimientos”, refirió.

Corredores viales concretados

Como un primer ejemplo de los logros durante su gestión, el alcalde Casanova detalló la transformación de la avenida Universidad, uno de los corredores viales más extensos del municipio, al cual se le recompusieron, sustituyeron o actualizaron los servicios públicos, fundamentalmente en la red de gas doméstico, la recolección de desechos sólidos, el acceso al agua potable y la corrección de botes de botes de agua blancas y residuales.

A su vez, se recuperaron escuelas, centros de salud, parques, iglesias y las plazas Ramón Ocando Pérez (Scout), Manuel Manrique, Rómulo Gallegos, Los Médicos y El Ingeniero, a esta última también se le instaló un módulo policial, a fin de impactar de forma contundente en la calidad de vida del maracaibero.

Una vez transformada la vía, se ejecuta el mantenimiento y la limpieza general permanente, junto al desmalezamiento y saneamiento de cañadas. Así pasa con los 12 corredores viales que han atravesado ese proceso de transformación, entre los que destacan la Calle Derecha, Calle Urdaneta, avenida Bella Vista, sector La Pícola, 5 de Julio, la Calle 72, la Curva de Molina, la avenida Santa Rita, la primera etapa de Panamericano, Santa Rosa de Agua y más recientemente en la avenida 8 Páez.

En desarrollo

La Alcaldía Bolivariana de Maracaibo continúa trabajando en los corredores viales Diputado Jean Carlos Martínez, Santa Lucía, Calle Carabobo, la Doble Vía de Cuatricentenario y la avenida 16 Guajira, próximos a concretarse con trabajos que incluyen reasfaltado de la vialidad y recuperación de edificios residenciales como los bloques de Raúl Leoni.

El alcalde Willy Casanova hizo mención de los corredores viales que serán atendidos muy pronto. Entre los planes resaltan las 4 mil 900 toneladas de asfalto para el corredor Rafito Villalobos / Cujicito; mil 298 toneladas para la vía Luis Hómez / Cuatricentenario II Etapa (la Doble Vía de Los Altos); mil 626 toneladas para La Chamarreta y 3 mil 280 toneladas para la vía Ziruma / Las Tarabas / Las Corubas.

Por otra parte, refirió la recuperación de los semáforos en 122 intersecciones, lo que representa el 45 por ciento de las intersecciones que se encontraban fuera de funcionamiento en 2017. También señaló que, con la instalación de nuevos semáforos, ya se ha restituido casi el 70 por ciento de la red.

Igualmente, adelantó que a mediados de octubre recibirán desde China un total de 10 mil luminarias, que se sumarán a las 5 mil instaladas en el primer semestre de 2021 como parte del Plan de Iluminación, y a las 10 mil que se encuentran en proceso de colocación.

Esto permitirá iniciar con el tramo Circunvalación 2, y avanzar hacia los corredores viales internos de las parroquias, sectores, barrios y urbanizaciones, como no ha ocurrido en los últimos años. Por último, Casanova detalló que se requieren cerca de 76 mil luminarias para sustituir todas las que tienen más de 15 años de instaladas en Maracaibo, y garantizar así la recuperación de todos los corredores viales.
