Alcalde Caldera reconoce el rendimiento académico y cultural de 36 jóvenes marenses

Por sus méritos y en reconocimiento al más alto índice académico, proyección cultural y deportiva, este jueves 10 de marzo, en horas de la tarde, el alcalde Luis Caldera confirió la Orden José Félix Ribas a 36 jóvenes de las unidades educativas, públicas, privadas, técnicas , así como a miembros del Sistema de Orquestas infantiles y Juveniles y a atletas de la localidad.

Al conferir la orden, Caldera les dijo: «Es un honor para el Gobierno Bolivariano de Mara entregarles la condecoración José Félix Ribas, la máxima distinción para los estudiantes, tanto como por su índice académico como por su trayectoria educativa y cultural. En este acto con mucho orgullo quiero decirles que ustedes son la antorcha que ilumina al mundo, ustedes han pasado una pandemia que les cambio su mundo, pues las formas de estudiar cambiaron totalmente».

Caldera expresó igualmente que la medalla que «ustedes llevaran a partir de hoy les recordará que ustedes son el espejo en su liceo, no por sus mejores notas si no para atraer a otros jóvenes a este camino que es el camino correcto, el camino del estudio. Muchas gracias, muchachos, por confiar en nosotros, ustedes son la generación de oro, viva la juventud de Mara».

Eva Uriana, mejor promedio de la unidad educativa Nuestra Señora del Carmen, en representación de la juventud marense, manifestó que la juventud es el presente del país: «Hoy es un día muy especial para nosotros los jóvenes, hemos sido protagonistas de los mas grandes hechos históricos y llevamos en nuestras venas la sangre de nuestros libertadores. Hoy estamos aquí para recoger los frutos de nuestra dedicación y esfuerzo, el presente de nuestra Venezuela».
