Salvador Pérez conecta el cuadrangular número 42

El receptor venezolano, Salvador Pérez, despachó este miércoles su cuadrangular número 42 de la temporada en la derrota de los Reales de Kansas City 9-8 ante los Orioles de Baltimore.

Pérez con su bambinazo se acerca al líder de jonrones de las Grandes Ligas, el japonés Shohei Ohtani, que suma 43 con los Angelinos de Los Angeles.

Además el criollo lidera las mayores con 104 carreras impulsadas, superando al cubano José Abreu, de los Medias Blancas de Chicago que tienen asegurado el pase a los playoffs de la Liga Americana.

El careta también pasó a la posesión exclusiva del tercer lugar en la lista de todos los tiempos de los Reales con el jonrón 194 de su carrera.
