El presidente ucraniano, Volodímir Zelenski, afirmó hoy que Rusia debe retirar sus tropas del país antes de que se firme cualquier documento sobre la no adhesión de Ucrania a la OTAN y las garantías de seguridad que, a cambio, exige Kiev a varios países como Turquía y el Reino Unido.
«Necesitamos un acuerdo con el presidente (Vladímir) Putin. Los garantes no firmarán nada si hay tropas», señaló en una entrevista con medios rusos independientes, entre ellos el portal Meduza (ubicado en Letonia) y periodistas de la cadena de televisión prohibida Dozhd, del diario económico Kommersant y el autor Mijaíl Zygar.
El regulador de las comunicaciones, Roskomnadzor, había afirmado que estos medios no deben publicar la entrevista, y advirtió de que «determinará el grado de responsabilidad y tomará medidas de respuesta«, según Meduza.
Zelenski sostuvo que «es imposible» que los líderes del Reino Unido, Boris, Johnson; de EEUU, Joe Biden; de Polonia, Andrzej Duda; y de Turquía, Recep Tayyip Erdogan suscriban cualquier documento como posibles garantes mientras esté en marcha una guerra.
El mandatario confirmó que está dispuesto a aceptar el estatus neutral y no nuclear del país, tal y como exige Rusia, a cambio de unas garantías de seguridad.
