El pop latino y el reguetón llegó por parte del colombiano Sebastián Yatra, mientras que el potente rock en español estuvo a cargo de las bandas chilenas Los Jaivas, Los Tres y Los Bunkers, que pusieron a bailar y cantar al público, autoridades y deportistas este viernes en la inauguración de los Juegos Panamericanos Santiago 2023.
La audiencia en las tribunas se maravilló con un emocionante concierto que abrió Los Jaivas, la banda más longeva de Chile conocidos por su enfoque ecléctico de la música, que incorpora instrumentos tradicionales andinos.
Dueños de icónicas canciones como ‘Todos Juntos’, que eligieron para abrir su segmento y que es un himno universal, que fue coreado por la mayoría de los asistentes.
Le siguieron Los Bunkers interpretando ‘Miño’, una canción con contenido social, en homenaje a un hombre con ese apellido que falleció tras prenderse fuego afuera del Palacio de La Moneda, por estar enfermo y en protesta a la poca calidad de la salud en Chile. Luego vinieron, ‘Ven aquí’, ‘Llueve sobre la ciudad’, ‘Bailando solo’.

Los Bunkers es una banda que surge de la unión de los hermanos Álvaro y Gonzalo López, Mauricio Basualto, y los hermanos Francisco y Mauricio Durán en 1999 y se les conoce por su estilo más contemporáneo.
La fuerte emoción que dejaron entre el público se elevó con la llegada de Los Tres al escenario, completando el espectáculo de las dos bandas más amadas en Chile, ambas oriundas de Concepción, ciudad del sur y la tercera más poblada del país. Unieron a distintas generaciones con sus coreadas canciones que pusieron a todos a rockear.
Los Tres abrieron con ‘Déjate Caer’ y le siguió con la muy entretenida ‘La Torre de Babel’, que habla de un cigarro que murió mojado, ‘Un amor violento’, ‘La vida que yo he pasado’, una cueca compuesta por el cantautor popular Roberto Parra, que hizo que los chilenos sacaran sus pañuelos.
Este grupo chileno, muy popular en América Latina, es de los más importantes surgidos en el país austral en la década de los noventa. Fue formado por Ángel Parra, miembro de la arraigada familia de artistas chilenos comenzando por Nicanor Parra y seguido por Violeta Parra, además de Roberto Lindl y Francisco Molina.
El potente final lo puso el colombiano Sebastián Yatra con ‘Pareja del Año’, que puso a todos a cantar a garganta abierta. Siguió con ‘Traicionera’, ‘Energía Bacana’, y ‘Vagabundo’, luego de eso habló para los asistentes anunciando su éxito ‘Tacones Rojos’ para el cierre.
“Yo quiero saber Chile, quién trajo los tacones rojos esta noche. Te quiero escuchar Panamericanos, a todos los atletas”, dijo como dedicatoria incluida.
Los fuegos artificiales sellaron la hermosa noche inaugural de los XIX Juegos Panamericanos, que se disputarán hasta el 5 de noviembre.
