VP: Explotación sexual, tráfico y trata de niñas venezolanas crece desmedidamente

“La sociedad colombiana no se inmutó y el Estado venezolano no emitió pronunciamiento alguno, ante la muerte de Sarai Colmenares, una niña que tuvo que migrar forzosamente de Venezuela a Colombia. Y terminó torturada y violentada sexualmente hasta su muerte el pasado 24 de enero, lo que demuestra la indefensión y aterradora realidad que viven mujeres y niñas venezolanas”, afirmó la coordinadora regional del Movimiento Mujeres, Takehydi González.

González aseguró que la infancia de niñas y adolescentes en Venezuela se ha visto interrumpida por la incidencia de un delito que trasciende las fronteras. “La explotación, el tráfico y trata de mujeres, niñas y adolescentes, va en ascenso diariamente, y las acciones que ha brindado el Estado venezolano para combatir a las mafias de estos delitos, son letra muerta, por tratarse de sectores donde los controles son establecidos por grupos criminales”, expresó.

La dirigente de la tolda naranja aseguró que el Estado venezolano sigue en silencio ante el asesinato y la violencia sexual contra mujeres y niñas. “Sarai fue asesinada, en su cuerpo quedaron las marcas de los múltiples signos de violencia y lesiones, mientras el Estado venezolano no emite ningún pronunciamiento, aun cuando está en la obligación de crear políticas públicas para la prevención de la trata y la explotación sexual de mujeres, niñas, adolescentes y mujeres”, dijo.

En su pronunciamiento, González hizo referencia al informe #LibresYSeguras emitido por Mulier en 2020, donde se asegura que 517 mujeres fueron rescatadas de redes de trata de personas, mientras que la cifra de niñas y adolescentes víctimas de este delito presentó un incremento de 27,4 por ciento en comparación al año 2019.

“El contexto migratorio, la deserción escolar y la separación de las familias hace especialmente vulnerable a las niñas y adolescentes, por eso todos debemos alzar la voz y hacer que el Estado venezolano brinde protección a las más vulnerables”, dijo.
