Un mensaje de audio atribuido a Martine Moise, la viuda del asesinado presidente haitiano, Jovenel Moïse, fue publicado este sábado en su cuenta oficial de Twitter, en el que afirmó que está “viva” y además lanzó mensajes políticos.
Un portavoz del Gobierno haitiano confirmó a Efe la autenticidad de la grabación en la que se escucha la voz atribuida a la viuda de Moïse, quien está hospitalizada en Estados Unidos y, según las últimas informaciones disponibles, se encontraba en estado crítico.
En el audio, de dos minutos y veinte segundos, la voz atribuye el ataque armado a “mercenarios” y relaciona el motivo del asesinato con el deseo del presidente de celebrar un referéndum para aprobar una nueva Constitución.
“Ustedes saben en contra de quien estaba luchando el presidente. Enviaron mercenarios para asesinar al presidente en casa, con toda su familia, porque quería carreteras, agua, elecciones y el referéndum al final del año, (lo asesinaron) para que no haya transición en el país”, dice el audio.
En tono político, aseguró que “los mercenarios que asesinaron al presidente están en la cárcel, pero hay otros mercenarios que quieren asesinar el sueño del presidente” y “la idea” que tenía para el país.

El mensaje se difunde después de que varias figuras de la oposición haitiana hayan puesto en tela de juicio la versión oficial que sostiene que el asesinato fue cometido por un comando de mercenarios colombianos.
En el ataque, supuestamente perpetrado por 28 hombres armados, murió Moïse y resultó herida su esposa, pero no se han divulgado informaciones oficiales sobre el estado de salud de los guardias de seguridad que custodiaban la residencia presidencial.
Horas después del ataque, Martine Moïse fue trasladada el pasado miércoles a Miami, Estados Unidos, en un avión ambulancia, para ser atendida en un hospital de esa ciudad.
El pasado jueves, el alcalde de Miami, Francis Suárez, y la congresista Frederica Wilson dijeron que la condición de la primera dama era “estable, pero crítica”.
