La Federación Venezolana de Béisbol (Fevebeisbol) y su homóloga de República Dominicana anunciaron este martes que alcanzaron un acuerdo para elevar la capacitación de sus entrenadores y árbitros, con el propósito de elevar la calidad técnica de ese deporte en sus respectivos países.
El pacto, que entrará en vigor en abril próximo, fue rubricado por el presidente de Fedobe Juan Núñez Nepomuceno y la presidenta de la Federación Venezolana de Béisbol (Fevebeisbol) Aracelis León, en presencia del ministro de Deportes dominicano, Francisco Camacho, reseñó EFE.
De acuerdo con un comunicado de este último organismo, técnicos dominicanos viajarán a Venezuela y los de ese país se trasladarán a República Dominicana para intercambiar conocimientos sobre el deporte más popular en ambos países.
Venezuela se compromete a enviar varios árbitros «experimentados» para impartir sus conocimientos a los dominicanos.
Además, la Fevebeisbol garantizará todos los gastos en los que incurra la selección sub’15 dominicana durante los 15 días previos a la celebración del Premundial de esa categoría, a realizarse del 6 al 16 de junio venidero en La Guaira, Venezuela.
Este tipo de colaboración se ejecutará con selecciones de otras categorías, precisó la información.
