Las autoridades de Venezuela detectaron 1.544 nuevos casos de COVID-19 en las últimas 24 horas. Con lo que la cifra total llegó a 453.974 desde el inicio de la pandemia, informó este sábado Delcy Rodríguez.
«La Comisión Presidencial para la Prevención, Atención y Control del COVID-19 informa al pueblo de Venezuela que en las últimas horas se registraron 1.544 nuevos contagios en el territorio nacional: 1.536 casos de transmisión comunitaria y 8 importados«, indicó Rodríguez en su cuenta de Twitter.
Sobre los casos importados, son 4 pacientes provenientes de Chile, 3 de Panamá y 1 de Costa Rica, expone la agencia EFE.
La región del país con más casos durante esta jornada fue Caracas con 474, seguido de Miranda con 435 y Yaracuy con 132. Además, Zulia con 95, Sucre con 70, Aragua con 68, Lara con 48, La Guaira con 37, Anzoátegui con 30 y Bolívar con 27.
Los estados con menos casos: Carabobo con 19, Trujillo con 16, Monagas con 15, Mérida con 13, Falcón con 12 y Táchira con 9. También Barinas con 8, Amazonas con 7, Apure con 3, Guárico con 2 y Nueva Esparta con 1.
De esta manera, Venezuela llegó a 453.974 desde el inicio de la pandemia. Aunque 438.341 pacientes se han recuperado, el 97 % del total, con lo que solo hay 10.255 casos activos.
Por otra parte, Rodríguez informó que en las últimas 24 horas fallecieron dos personas más por covid-19, ambos en Caracas. Con lo que la cifra de decesos llegó a 5.378 desde el inicio de la pandemia.
Nicolás Maduro expresó este sábado su preocupación ante el aumento de los contagios en el país. Por lo cual pidió a los ciudadanos continuar con las medidas de prevención y vacunarse.
«En la última semana de diciembre y primera semana de enero, Venezuela logró un récord en la disminución de los casos de COVID-19 y llegamos a 5 casos por 100.000 habitantes. Pero después se expresó la ‘hora loca’ y hoy, 15 de enero, tengo que decir que hemos llegado a 18 casos por 100.000 habitantes», indicó el mandatario en la rendición anual de su gestión en el Parlamento.
Maduro aseguró que esto representa un «crecimiento exponencial» de contagios en Venezuela, lo que calificó como «preocupante».
«Afortunadamente, tenemos suficientes vacunas para vacunar a toda la población venezolana mayor de 2 años todo 2022″, afirmó.
Añadió que en el país caribeño se está inmunizado con la vacuna rusa Sputnik Light, la cubana Abdala y «varias» provenientes de China.
