Venezuela sumó en las últimas 24 horas 715 nuevos contagios de la COVID-19, con lo que el total de casos confirmados desde que se inició la pandemia en el país caribeño llegó a 407 mil 866, informó este lunes el ministro de Comunicación, Freddy Ñáñez.
«A 596 días de la pandemia en Venezuela, informamos que durante las últimas 24 horas el país registró 715 nuevos contagios», indicó Ñáñez en su cuenta de Twitter, donde detalló que uno de estos casos es «importado» de Panamá.
El ministro también especificó que el estado con más contagios durante este día fue Cojedes con 143 casos, seguido de Miranda con 131, Caracas con 98, Barinas con 95, Aragua con 61, Yaracuy con 58, Zulia con 34, Lara con 25, Apure con 17, Falcón con ocho, Carabobo, Guárico y Anzoátegui con seis cada uno y Sucre con cinco.
La lista la completan Táchira y Amazonas con cuatro en cada estado, seguido de Portuguesa y Bolívar con tres en cada uno, La Guaira, Nueva Esparta y Mérida con dos en cada región y Trujillo con uno.
Del mismo modo, Ñáñez informó sobre el fallecimiento de once personas a causa de esta enfermedad, cinco de los cuales ocurrieron en Caracas, tres en Miranda, dos en Zulia y uno en Anzoátegui.
Con estos datos, el país llegó a un total de 407 mil 866 casos confirmados, de los cuales 11 mil 124 se encuentran activos, pues 391.840 personas se han recuperado y cuatro mil 902 han fallecido.
«Iniciamos el mes de noviembre y con él la flexibilización amplia en el país, el llamado es a mantener las medidas de bioseguridad y a vacunarse, de manera que en el mes de diciembre podamos cumplir la meta del 95 % de población inmunizada», apuntó Ñáñez.
