El Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela realizó este sábado un concierto donde busca un récord Guinness como la orquesta más grande del mundo reunida en una presentación con 12 mil músicos que se apostaron en el simbólico patio de la Academia Militar con El Ávila de fondo.
Hasta el momento, este récord lo tiene una orquesta del Fondo de Iniciativas Sociales de la petrolera Gazprom, que con 8.097 músicos estableció el logro en San Petersburgo, Rusia.
Se espera que en la próxima semana los supervisores del Guinness World Records den a conocer los resultados.
La orquesta interpretó, para conseguir el récord la Marcha Eslava, de Piotr Ilich Tchaikovsky, entre otras piezas musicales de la nación suramericana, bajo estricto cumplimiento de las medidas de bioseguridad en el patio de honor de la Academia Militar en Caracas (capital).
La emoción se puso a flor de piel justo a las 5.31 de la tarde. Todos los músicos junto a sus instrumentos se mostraron totalmente concentrados en la gran misión de lograr el objetivo propuesto, reseña El Nacional.

Luego de un acto protocolar y con un leve tono político incluido por parte de la vicepresidenta Delcy Rodríguez, se dio inicio al registro de récord Guinness.
Antes de comenzar el evento, los participantes le rindieron homenaje al maestro José Antonio Abreu, fallecido el 24 de marzo de 2018, y quien fuese fundador del Sistema Nacional de Orquestas y Coros Juveniles e Infantiles de Venezuela.
La primera pieza musical la interpretaron bajo la dirección de Enluis Montes Olivar con la interpretación de Te Deum, del compositor Charpentier, reseña El Nacional.
La directora María Gabriela Hernández Montilla estuvo a cargo del segundo tema titulado Chamango. Luego de una pausa, Susana Reyes, la experta de Guinness World Records encargada de registrar la hazaña, se dirigió a los presentes para resaltar las normas y lo que sería considerado para el récord.
Fue entonces que la Marcha eslava, del compositor ruso Piotr Chaikovski, tomó protagonismo, pues esta tercera pieza musical es la que tomarán en cuenta los evaluadores para destacar a Guinness el registro como récord mundial. Estuvo dirigida por el joven Andrés David Ascanio Abreu.
