Un total de 1.087 nuevos casos de COVID-19, de los cuales 1.083 son de transmisión comunitaria y 4 importados, fueron detectados en las últimas 24 horas por las autoridades sanitarias venezolanas, elevando a 293.866 el total acumulado de contagios, mientras que la tasa de recuperados se ubica en 94 %, al sumar 276 mil 952 pacientes recuperados.
Así lo informó Freddy Ñáñez, ministro de comunicación e información, durante el acostumbrado balance diario de la Comisión Presidencial para el Control y la Prevención de la COVID-19, a través de la red social Twitter.
Los casos comunitarios de la jornada se detectaron en 20 estados: Yaracuy (189), Falcón (180), Zulia (174), Apure (133), Aragua (104), Nueva Esparta (65), Caracas (59), Miranda (49), Lara (38), Mérida (27), Portuguesa (14), Carabobo (11), Bolívar (9), Anzoátegui (9), Sucre (7), Táchira (6), Delta Amacuro (3), Amazonas (3), Trujillo (2), Monagas (1).
Mientras que los cuatro (4) casos importados son provenientes de Panamá, todos con entrada por el estado La Guaira:
Reportó el lamentable fallecimiento de 15 nuevas víctimas de la COVID-19, para sumar 3.392 decesos a la fecha:

Zulia: Dos
Apure: Uno
