El canciller, Yván Gil, informó que Venezuela estuvo presente en la la tercera Cumbre del Sur del G77+China que se realizó en Kampala, Uganda.
De acuerdo con un mensaje publicado por Gil en su cuenta de X (antes Twitter), la presencia venezolana en este encuentra busca promover «la cooperación Sur-Sur como pilar para el nuevo mundo multipolar», reseñó Unión Radio.
«Hemos reafirmamos nuestro compromiso de fortalecer las relaciones de amistad y cooperación estratégica entre nuestros países. Estamos comprometidos a avanzar juntos en este nuevo mundo multipolar y justo que está emergiendo», agregó.
Gil también indicó que expresaron «su firme apoyo a Sudáfrica en su postura de justicia ante el genocidio en Gaza».
