El hecho se registró en el sector Altos de Jalisco, parroquia Coquivacoa del municipio Maracaibo; una vez procesada la denuncia los patrulleros del Centro de Coordinación Policial Maracaibo Norte se trasladaron hasta el sitio de trabajo del sindicado -quien se desempeña como preparador de cadáveres- donde le leyeron sus derechos para ponerlo a la orden del Ministerio Público.
La víctima, una joven de 19 años con 28 semanas de gestación fue llevada de emergencia a un centro asistencial donde los galenos de guardia diagnosticaron traumatismo facial leve, con hematomas en la región frontal y región orbital derecha.
