Funcionarios de la FAES y la Dirección Nacional Antidrogas ultimaron en Petare a cinco presuntos delincuentes durante un operativo para dar con el paradero de los antisociales que asesinaron al oficial agregado Luis Zapata, informó el periodista Román Camacho.
De los fallecidos, que presuntamente forman parte de la banda del Niple, tres fueron identificados: Deni Javier Peña Martínez, Wuillians Leonardo Echenique y Yorgen Canache, alias el Colchón.
En el procedimiento los funcionarios incautaron cinco armas de fuego, una de ellas del agente asesinado.
El despliegue policial, precisó Camacho, continúa en Petare y parte de la carretera Petare-Santa Lucía.
En la mañana de este jueves 5 de mayo antisociales asesinaron a Zapata cuando se encontraba en el sector Paramaconi del barrio El Carpintero de Petare.
El oficial fue sorprendido por los delincuentes. Uno de ellos le disparó varias veces en la cabeza y luego le quitó el arma de reglamento y la moto.
El funcionario fue trasladado al Hospital Domingo Luciani, donde falleció a pesar de los esfuerzos de los médicos.
Feminicidio
El mes pasado fue asesinada, también en Petare, Maibel Alejandra Espinoza, de 18 años de edad, por su pareja en medio de una discusión.
El hecho ocurrió en el barrio La Bombilla.
Testigos explicaron que Espinoza invitó a su novio, Yender Ozuna, de 19 años de edad, a compartir con familiares. Sin embargo, un malentendido fue el detonante del conflicto. En medio de la celebración, ambos discutieron y fue entonces cuando el hombre sacó un arma y le disparó en la frente.
