En su último informe, el Consejo Nacional de Gestión y Reducción del Riesgo de Desastres (NDRRMC, siglas en inglés) señaló que de los desplazados solo 2.283 se encuentran en centros de evacuación, mientras que hay 193 localidades sin electricidad y 22 carreteras dañadas.
El embate del tifón, conocido como Odette en el país y el decimoquinto en llegar a Filipinas este año, ha pasado por un total de nueve islas donde ha destruido las comunicaciones en algunas áreas y arrancando los techos y provocado daños en numerosos edificios.
