La periodista aprovechó la oportunidad para sugerirle al alcalde de Maracaibo, Rafael Ramírez, que Villa Carmen sea asignada como sede del IMGRA, en vista que la sede actual está en muy malas condiciones para comenzar la gestión del joven zuliano.
“Propongo solicitar al Alcalde de Maracaibo le sea asignada Villa Carmen, en Bella Vista, como sede digna para la institución ya que donde ha funcionado está en muy mal estado y no cuenta con espacios idóneos”, escribió la marabina a través de la red social Instagram.

La «tía Mora» recordó que el intérprete de “Háblame de Maracaibo”, comenzó de niño, como instrumentista y cantante, y sabe muy bien cuáles son las herramientas necesarias para “poner en práctica el mejor sistema de enseñanza de la gaita”.
Gutiérrez apuesta que el cantante pueda recibir todo el apoyo necesario por parte del equipo del burgomaestre para poder concretar la gestión “que marque la diferencia; que escuche a todos los sectores interesados en gestionar programas de enseñanza, innovando nuevas estrategias, para llegar a más niños y jóvenes del municipio”.
