Un total de siete personas fallecieron en Venezuela en las últimas 24 horas debido a la COVID-19, con lo que la cifra total de muertes desde el inicio de la pandemia se elevó hasta las 5.223, informó este jueves la vicepresidenta ejecutiva, Delcy Rodríguez.
«Lamentablemente, en las últimas horas tenemos siete venezolanos fallecidos por la pandemia», escribió Rodríguez en su cuenta de Twitter, en la que detalló que entre los muertos había dos personas del céntrico estado Anzoátegui, reseñó EFE.
La lista la completan otras dos personas de Barinas, dos de Bolívar y una de Mérida.
Por otra parte, Rodríguez detalló que, en las últimas 24 horas, las autoridades detectaron 424 nuevos contagios de covid-19 en Venezuela, todos ellos por transmisión comunitaria.
El estado con más casos nuevos es el céntrico Cojedes, con 131, de los que 71 fueron detectados en el municipio Ezequiel Zamora (capital regional), 21 en Tinaco, 8 en Tinaquillo, 7 en Ricaurte, 6 en Rómulo Gallegos, 6 en Girardot y 4 en Lima Blanco.
