Sao Paulo se despide de la mascarilla en ambientes cerrados

Sao Paulo, el estado más poblado y rico de Brasil, anunció este jueves el fin de la obligatoriedad del uso de mascarillas también en ambientes cerrados, poco más de una semana después de que levantara la exigencia en los exteriores.

«Acabo de firmar decreto que libera inmediatamente el uso de mascarillas en locales cerrados en Sao Paulo», anunció en las redes sociales en gobernador paulista y candidato presidencial, Joao Doria, quien atribuyó la decisión al «avance de la vacunación y a la caída en las hospitalizaciones y muertes» por el coronavirus.

Doria agregó que, por ahora, los tapabocas permanecen obligatorios tan solo en las unidades de salud, hospitales y transporte público de las 645 ciudades paulistas.

«(Es) un momento tan esperado después de dos años desafiantes. ¡Estoy muy contento!», completó.
