Los representantes de Samba Latino contactaron a los familiares de Víctor Alfonso Araujo (37), uno de los heridos en el atentado perpetrado por grupos de delincuencia organizada al supermercado, para “apoyarlos económicamente” con los gastos médicos.
“Es importante destacar que Supermercado Samba Latino ha brindado todo el apoyo a las cinco personas heridas víctimas de este hecho delictivo y es también Supermercado Samba Latino una víctima de los hechos”, detallaron los representantes del market a través de un comunicado.
Los abogados indicaron que, tras el atentado del pasado sábado 18 de febrero se desconocía la identidad y el paradero de Araujo por lo que no fueron contactados, sin embargo, luego de las publicaciones de los medios de comunicación, la empresa contactó a los parientes de Araujo para corroborar su estado de salud e iniciar el apoyo financiero.
“Recibió cuatro disparos. Uno en el miembro inferior derecho que lesionó la femoral y tres en el miembro inferior izquierdo que provocó fractura abierta en la tibia y el peroné, por lo que se le debe realizar una limpieza quirúrgica para retirar esquirlas de balas en su miembro inferior izquierdo”, detalla el texto enviado a Foco Informativo.
Gerardo Bracho, primo de la víctima, informó a este medio que en primera instancia Araujo lo trasladaron al Servicio Autónomo Hospital Universitario de Maracaibo, donde fue operado de una de las piernas. Pasada 24 horas los parientes trasladaron a un centro asistencial privado donde será operado de la otra extremidad.
Bracho confirmó el contacto con Samba y que su pariente evoluciona satisfactoriamente, pues mañana termina el período de observación de 72 horas.
“Ya el paciente está proceso de operación y más estable”, destacó el pariente este lunes.
