Miles de salvadoreños se manifestaron nuevamente este domingo en contra de las «acciones dictatoriales» del presidente Nayib Bukele, la violación a los derechos humanos y a la Constitución, y la implementación de políticas que «no benefician al pueblo».
La nueva marcha, convocada principalmente en redes sociales, reunió a sociedad civil, miembros de sindicatos, exjueces, excombatientes de la Fuerza Armada y de la exguerrilla, lisiados de guerra y miembros de la comunidad LGTBI.
Esta sería la cuarta marcha contra el gobierno del presidente Bukele que se realiza desde el 7 de septiembre pasado, cuando cientos de salvadoreños se manifestaron en contra de la implementación de la ley bitcóin que permite el uso de la criptomoneda como método de pago junto al dólar.
La manifestación partió del parque Cuscatlán, en San Salvador, y recorrió al menos 3 kilómetros para concluir en la plaza Gerardo Barrios, conocida como plaza cívica.
Violación de derechos humanos
Marta Rivas, una mujer que viajó desde el municipio de Santa Marta —a más de 70 kilómetros de San Salvador— y que ha participado en las anteriores protestas, dijo a EFE que está en contra de «la dictadura» y que alza su voz por «todas aquellas (mujeres) asesinadas y por las que siguen desaparecidas».
«Defendemos la democracia y creemos que este país tiene que recuperar su democracia (…), rechazamos todas las políticas que este gobierno y la Asamblea Legislativa están implementando que atentan contra los derechos de las personas», expresó.
Además, señaló que 2021 ha sido «un año oscuro, un año de muchas sombras porque cada día seguimos descubriendo nuevas artimañas, nuevas intenciones macabras de este gobierno de querer desbaratar y deslegitimar todas las luchas sociales y coartar la libertad de expresión y de prensa».
«Exigimos que se respete el Estado de Derecho, la distribución de los tres poderes del Estado, porque creemos que en un país democrático también radica la garantía de los derechos para la toda la ciudadanía», apuntó.
Rivas invitó al gobierno a que «cambie su pensamiento y sus prácticas que, hasta ahora, son prácticas dictatoriales».
