Las fuerzas rusas tomaron hoy la localidad ucraniana de Berestove, en la región nororiental de Járkov, en su intento de ampliar la “zona sanitaria” junto a la frontera rusa, informó este domingo el Ministerio de Defensa de Rusia en su parte de guerra.
“Las unidades de la agrupación militar Zapad (Occidente) liberaron la localidad de Berestove de la región de Járkov gracias a sus exitosas acciones bélicas”, indicó el Telegram el departamento castrense, reseñó EFE.
Esta localidad de apenas 230 habitantes está ubicada a unos 120 kilómetros al sudeste de la capital regional, a la que este domingo viajó el presidente ucraniano, Volodímir Zelenski.
Desde Járkov, donde un ataque el sábado contra un hipermercado dejó al menos 12 muertos y 43 heridos, Zelenski llamó a los líderes mundiales a aumentar su apoyo en materia de defensa aérea.
Afirmó que “Rusia está dirigida por hombres que quieren convertir en norma quemar vidas, destruir ciudades y pueblos, dividir a la gente y borrar las fronteras nacionales mediante la guerra”.
Agregó que en Járkov vive más de un millón de personas, sometidas día y noche a los bombardeos rusos, principalmente con misiles S-300, y ahora también con bombas aéreas guiadas, con aviones rusos que vuelan cerca de la frontera estatal y lanzan estas armas de destrucción indiscriminada directamente sobre ellas.
