En total, la agencia ha reportado más de 9,2 infecciones confirmadas y más de 261.000 decesos por COVID-19, que significa a Rusia en el país con mayor mortalidad en Europa.
Algunos expertos creen que la cifra real es aun más alta. Los informes de la agencia nacional de estadística, Rosstat, que contabiliza los fallecimientos atribuidos al coronavirus con carácter retroactivo, revela una mortalidad mucho más elevada. De acuerdo con estos datos, 462.000 personas con COVID-19 perdieron la vida entre abril de 2020 y septiembre de este año.
