Mencionó que esto se efectuará si los talibanes cumplen con un gobierno inclusivo, respeto a los derechos humanos, lucha contra el terrorismo y el narcotráfico, reseñó EFE.
Rusia proscribió a los talibanes en 2003, aunque recibió a sus representantes en varias ocasiones antes de que tomaran el poder en Kabul, en agosto pasado.
Putin subrayó que Rusia coopera con el movimiento talibán y recordó que les invitó este miércoles a Moscú para participar en una conferencia internacional que pidió a la ONU la convocatoria de una reunión de donantes para ayudar a Afganistán.
«Para que la normalización transcurra al ritmo adecuado, por supuesto, hay que ayudar a Afganistán a restablecer su economía», insistió.
Destacó que Rusia sabe que los talibanes están intentando «deshacerse» de elementos radicales en territorio afgano, «incluido el (grupo yihadista) Estado Islámico».
Con todo, les instó a entablar relaciones con todos los grupos étnicos, políticos, sociales religiosos del país centroasiático, y recordó las importantes minorías tayika y uzbeca.
«Nos gustaría que se forjasen compromisos aceptables y que los asuntos no se resuelvan sólo con ayuda de las armas como últimamente y que se respeten los intereses de las mujeres», dijo.
