La vicepresidenta Ejecutiva de la República, Delcy Rodríguez, informó este viernes que un total de 979 nuevos contagios por COVID-19 fueron detectados en el país, las últimas 24 horas, 971 de transmisión comunitaria y 08 de personas provenientes del extranjero: 05 de personas que llegaron de Panamá, 02 de República Dominicana y 01 de México.
Desde la Sala de Prensa Simón Bolívar en Miraflores, la vicemandataria señaló que Miranda en la entidad que nuevamente lidera los casos comunitarios este viernes con 228 contagios, seguido por Caracas 141, Aragua 132, La Guaira 107, Carabobo 74, Sucre 43, Zulia 41, Bolívar 38, Barinas 34, Falcón 31, Lara 26, Delta Amacuro 14, Monagas 14, Trujillo 12, Anzoátegui 11, Apure 10, Yaracuy 10, Guárico 05 y Amazonas 01.
Los 228 casos del estado Miranda están distribuidos en los municipios: Independencia 28, Urdaneta 21, Paz Castillo 20, Plaza 15, Zamora 15, Lander 15, Guaicaipuro 14, Acevedo 14, Los Salías 12, Brión 11, Sucre 10, Cristóbal Rojas 10, Simón Bolívar 09, Páez 09, Pedro Gual 08, Baruta 04, Carrizal 03, Buroz 03, El Hatillo 02, Andrés Bello 02 y Chacao 01.
Rodríguez reportó el fallecimiento de catorce (14) pacientes producto de las complicaciones por el virus: 5 Miranda, 4 Caracas, 2 Anzoátegui, 2 Nueva Esparta y 01 Yaracuy. Con estas cifras Venezuela arriba a un acumulado de 1.629 decesos por la pandemia.
Asimismo, la alta funcionaria Ejecutiva señaló que hasta la fecha Venezuela acumula un total de 162.730 contagios, 149.459 pacientes se recuperaron lo que representa 92 %, en la actualidad el país registra 11.642 casos activos, 10.406 son atendidos en el Sistema Público de Salud, 875 en Centros de Diagnósticos Integral (CDI) y 361 en Clínicas privadas.
