De manera habilidosa un ciudadano rellenó pescados frescos con material ferroso, pretendiendo burlar las autoridades; pero los Guardias Nacionales Bolivarianos del Comando de Zona de la GNB N°11 Zulia, detectaron la carga y fue detenido.
El hecho ocurrió gracias a las labores de revisión y control que se ejercen en el Punto de Atención al Ciudadano «Mi Ranchito», perteneciente al Destacamento de Comandos Rurales N° 11-1, en el municipio Jesús María Semprúm, cuando los efectivos realizaban las labores de revisión de rutina y observaron el nerviosismo del ciudadano, el cual viajaba en un vehículo de transporte público que cubría la ruta Machiques de Perijá- La Fría.
El detenido, que responde al nombre de Giovanny Antonio Brujel, venezolano, llevaba en dos tobos de plástico pescados frescos rellenos de material estratégico tipo cobre. Que tuvo un peso bruto de 50 kilos.
Este modus operandi fue detectado gracias a las actuaciones de los efectivos castrenses, los cuales se mantienen en la vanguardia en materia de investigaciones y requisa.
La FANB, en busca de erradicar este tipo de contrabando de extracción de material estratégico, en la mayoría de los casos pertenecientes a la Nación, ha incrementado los controles en los Puntos de Atención al Ciudadano, para intensificar las requisas y dar con la captura de los antisociales que se dedican a este delito.
