La rectora de la Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), Cecilia García Arocha, considera que sería «complicado» iniciar el nuevo ciclo académico de manera semipresencial.
«Depende no solo de la pandemia, sino de las condiciones que cada facultad y cada institución tiene para hacer la semipresencialidad», dijo.
Afirmó que «no es difícil, pero yo lo veo bien complicado empezar una semipresencialidad en aquellas facultades» que tienen cursos que no pueden hacerse de manera online.
Indicó que se dejó bajo el criterio de los consejos de facultad la decisión de cuáles serían las actividades que se puede hacer de manera semipresencial.
En entrevista concedida al programa Dos más Dos que transmite Unión Radio, calificó de «irresponsable» crear expectativas sobre el retorno a las aulas.
«Es irresponsable llamar a clases sin existir las condiciones, los salarios, los servicios básicos que funcionen adecuadamente, a mi me parece muy irresponsable», agregó.
Comentó que este jueves 30 de septiembre se reunirán con los gremios y sindicatos para recibir las propuestas que se deberán a remitir al consejo universitario.
Situación universitaria
La rectora señaló que las autoridades deben un 75 % del presupuesto que correspondía a la casa de estudios superiores en el 2020. «En el 2021 el 98 %».
Aseveró que la recuperación del Aula Magna de la universidad requiere de unos 300 mil dólares, lo cuales son recogidos por la Asociación de Egresados de la UCV.
«Ha sido muy lento y muy poco la contribución», añadió.
