En síntesis, de acuerdo con evidencia científica, las personas con esquemas completos de vacunas contra el COVID-19 se pueden infectar con la variante delta. Sin embargo, el curso de la infección será más benigno y por un tiempo muy corto; si se compara con quienes son afectados por esta forma del virus sin tener las dosis completas o no se han vacunado.
