El gobernador del estado Zulia, Manuel Rosales, inició este domingo 20 de febrero el programa Zulia Activo en la avenida El Milagro de Maracaibo, pero anunció que este se extenderá a todos los municipio de la geografía zuliana.
Esta iniciativa del Gobierno regional tiene como objetivo la recreación de los zulianos mediante el cierre de calles y avenida para que los participantes disfruten con sus bicicletas, patines, patinetas y mascota.
“Hoy iniciamos este programa de recreación, de deportes, de encuentro juvenil y familiar en toda la avenida El Milagro en toda la avenida El Milagro, y la semana que viene en 5 de Julio”, señaló el mandatario regional acompañado de su gabinete.
El paso vehicular estuvo restringido, en los dos canales, de la mencionada arteria vial desde las 6.00 hasta las 10.00 de la mañana en el tramo que comprende desde la Biblioteca del estado al parque de La Marina.
“Este nuevo programa de la Gobernación del Zulia está en coordinación con los alcaldes de la región. Rafael Ramírez está presente, siendo parte de estos proyectos en Maracaibo y así en todo el Zulia, todos los alcaldes, la sociedad civil, los sectores, se sumarán para crear estos espacios en toda la región zuliana», agregó.
La actividad contó atención médica, puntos de hidratación y seguridad.
Decreto Regional
El mandatario regional informó que su despacho ya firmó el decreto que regula el Programa Zulia Activo, según detalla una nota de prensa.
“Este Decreto, ya promulgado, establece la creación de espacios, donde estaremos dando apoyo con seguridad, atención a la salud, prevención, orientación e instrumentos; patinetas, bicicletas para que los jóvenes, y los adultos participen”, informó.
La primera autoridad regional también inspeccionó las áreas del parque La Marina, el cual presenta un considerable deterioro. Seguidamente supervisó el desarrollo de dos jornadas sociales en la parroquia Marcial Hernández y Santa Lucía de los municipios San Francisco y Maracaibo, respectivamente.
