Durante la última semana Lucena acompañada por un equipo multidisciplinario integrado por médicos y trabajadores sociales, visitó varios hogares de Maracaibo y San Francisco donde existen necesidades en materia de salud. Como parte de esta labor fue otorgado un coche ortopédico a un niño de siete años en el sector Santa Lucia de la capital zuliana allí también distribuyó alimentos, juguetes y medicamentos.
La primera dama estuvo en la parroquia Cacique Mara visitar la casa de una niña de cuatro años que presenta estrabismo bilateral a quien canaliza su intervención quirúrgica para corregir su visión, además entregó combos de alimentos que incluyen vegetales y proteínas. El recorrido también lo efectuó en varios hogares de San Francisco brindando el mismo protocolo de asistencia social.
Durante la reciente inauguración de la sede de BanZulia Maracaibo ubicada en la avenida el Milagro Jesica Lucena acompañada por los Intendentes parroquiales y municipales y la Secretaria de Asuntos Sociales diputada Zuyin Pérez, entregó lentes y ayudas técnicas a personas que se comunicaron al programa Omar a las 7.
La esposa del Gobernador detalló que entre las ayudas entregadas se encuentran 220 lentes correctivos, coches ortopédicos, sillas de rueda, bastones, además de ayudas sociales y combos alimenticios. Contribuyendo de esta manera con el pueblo más vulnerable y mejorando sus condiciones de vida.
