Gobernador Omar Prieto entregó propuestas tras consulta pública del Proyecto de ley Orgánica de Zonas Económicas Especiales a Diputados de la Asamblea Nacional
Luego de hacer una gran consulta pública a diversos representantes del sector económico y productivo de la región, el Gobernador del Estado Zulia, Omar Prieto Fernández, entregó las propuestas del Proyecto de Ley Orgánica de Zonas Económicas Especiales a la comisión de Diputados de la Asamblea Nacional, miembros de la Comisión Permanente de Economía, Finanzas y Desarrollo Nacional y a la Subcomisión de Producción Nacional, entre ellos, el Diputado Econ. Jesús Faría, Diputado Dr. José Vielma Mora, Diputado Econ. Ramón Lobo, Diputado Fernando Bastidas y la Diputada Econ. Gerardina Parada.
En Compañía del G/D Manuel Castillo Rengifo, Comandante de la Zona Operativa de Defensa Integral (ZODI) y los economistas Lionar Ojeda y Eddy Aguirre y la Diputada Aloha Núñez, el Gobernador Prieto Fernández dirigió el acto de consulta pública, donde afirmó que el objetivo de la reunión fue discutir con los pequeños, medianos y grandes empresarios del estado Zulia las propuestas, ya que está región sin duda alguna logrará el crecimiento de la Zona Económica Especial, además de su desarrollo.
Prieto, felicitó al sector empresarial en la región por su emprendimiento nacionalista que protege las inversiones del territorio, especial las del sector agropecuario, pesquero, del camarón, cangrejo y los que trabajan directa o indirectamente con el sector petrolero, para potenciar desde el Zulia la producción nacional.
«Hoy estamos construyendo desde la región este proyecto con ayuda de la Comisión Nacional y estamos escuchando las propuestas de los diferentes sectores, demostrando el sentido de inclusión, ya que cada quien está haciendo su aporte en pro de una ley», añadió el mandatario, quien además mencionó que la Universidad del Zulia, Fedecámaras y las diferentes Cámaras de Comercios también participaron en el acto.
El Gobernador detalló que está consulta pública es de vital importancia para que todos los empresarios sepan que aportaron al momento en el que se promulgue la Ley.
Destacó que debido a la importancia en el área económica que tiene la región, la Comisión Permanente de Economía, Finanzas y Desarrollo Nacional eligió de primero al estado a Zulia para recoger las propuestas expuestas en la consulta pública.
Por su parte, el Diputado Jesús Faría recalcó la importancia del debate con los sectores económicos para esta Ley fundamental en el Zulia, pues en la región hay un «extraordinario potencial de desarrollo» que servirá para superar el brutal bloqueo económico y en la búsqueda de un modelo productivo que diversifique las acciones para sustituir las importaciones y el incremento de las exportaciones y modernice tecnológicamente al país.
«El tema económico es el primer punto de la agenda política nacional y también la producción, por lo que la Zona Económica Especial tiene como propósito iniciar la atracción de inversión privada, nacional y extranjera con la participación del Estado como ente rector, por lo que con el incremento de producción que permita diversificar la economía, tendremos el poder de atender, desde una mejor posición, las grandes necesidades del pueblo», agregó el Diputado Faría.
Finalmente el Diputado Vielma Mora destacó que la consulta pública fue una «súper reunión extraordinaria, donde se comprobó que desde el Zulia hay un ánimo en contribuir con el crecimiento y desarrollo de la economía y se puede garantizar el bienestar de la población y es el Gobernador Omar Prieto quien ha mostrado el interés por crear las tres zonas económicas especiales en el Zulia: «Una con una convicción agrícola-agropecuaria en la zona Sur del Lago de Maracaibo; el fortalecimiento de la zona Metropolitana; y la tercera y única en el mundo, la cual sería la Zona Económica de la Alta Guajira».
