Omar Prieto, gobernado de Zulia, informó este lunes 25 de octubre que este próximo martes demolerá el retén de Cabimas.
«Yo invito al pueblo de Cabimas mañana, mañana personal estaré yo demoliendo, el bochornoso acto que durante años acabó con la vida y la economía de la Costa Oriental del Lago, incluso en Maracaibo y San Francisco», dijo en su programa matutino.
El mandatario regional agradeció el apoyo al presidente Nicolás Maduro, a la Comisión Nacional Judicial, Pedro Carreño, Yonder Durán, diputado a la Asamblea Nacional.
«Este sábado quitamos hasta el último cable para poder ingresar este martes, yo invito al pueblo de Cabimas a que vaya con su martillo, un mazo, para que cada uno le meta un martillazo para que tumbemos el retén. Allí haremos un espacio para la vida, Hemos cerrado una puerta del infierno».
Prieto aseguró que los detenidos con sentencia firme fueron trasladados a las cárceles, los que tienen un proceso judicial al Retén El Marite, que está «en excelentes condiciones, y la justicia social los que tienen régimen de presentación».
