La Policía de Nicaragua informó este viernes que inició una investigación en contra de Editorial La Prensa Sociedad Anónima y sus directivos, por los presuntos delitos de defraudación aduanera, lavado de dinero, bienes y activos, en perjuicio del Estado de Nicaragua y la sociedad nicaragüense.
«En cumplimiento de orden judicial, equipo técnico de la Dirección de Auxilio Judicial, acompañado de funcionarios de la Dirección General de Servicios Aduaneros (DGA), Procuraduría General de la República (PGR) y Ministerio Público, realizaron allanamiento y registro en las bodegas de Editorial La Prensa Sociedad Anónima, las cuales permanecen bajo custodia policial», indicó la Policía Nacional, en una declaración.
Esa institución agregó que continúa «realizando las diligencias investigativas pertinentes y remitirá expediente a las autoridades competentes para su enjuiciamiento y determinación de las responsabilidades penales».
