En respuesta a una denuncia recibida, funcionarios de la Policía Nacional Bolivariana, adscritos a la Estación Policial Punta Gorda, aprehendieron a dos sujetos por hurto de material estratégico en el estado Zulia.
La actuación policial se llevó a cabo específicamente en el sector Punta Gorda de la parroquia Rafael María Baralt, municipio Simón Bolívar, donde capturaron a José Manuel Paz (30) y Anyelo Antonio Velásquez (28).
En el hecho los oficiales incautaron como evidencia (02) sacos de material sintético color: blanco, donde cargaban 40 kilos de cable surtido perteneciente a la empresa de estado CANTV.
Los detenidos y las evidencias fueron puestos a la orden del Ministerio Público venezolano.
