Un total de 25 cargamentos zarparon de aguas venezolanas el mes pasado, transportando 688 mil 533 bpd de crudo y combustible principalmente a China, Malasia y los Emiratos Árabes Unidos. Las exportaciones a Europa se redujeron a un solo cargamento de 110 mil barriles, frente a los dos o tres cargamentos de los meses anteriores.
Los volúmenes de abril representaron un descenso del 19 % respecto al mismo mes del año anterior.
Tras agotar la mayoría de las existencias de crudo Merey y mejorando en abril, Pdvsa se prepara para reiniciar dos de sus cuatro mejoradores, que en total son capaces de convertir más de 600 mil bpd de crudo extrapesado de la Faja Petrolifera del Orinoco en grados exportables, indicó la agencia Reuters.
