Una publicación del programa Al Rojo Vivo de Telemundo desmintió los rumores de cancelación y preguntaron a sus seguidores de Instagram “¿Creen que deberían penalizar al cantante por cantarle a #NicolasMaduro?”.
La reacción de Montero en la publicación no se hizo esperar y allí mismo arremetió contra la cadena televisiva estadounidense
“Exactamente mi gente de Telemundo: Vamos a pedir al público también que sancionen sus narcoseries al fomentar esto y a sus periodistas que entrevistan a los narcotraficantes. No se puede ser juez y parte de esto”, dijo el cantante, al hacer referencia a la cantidad de telenovelas de narcotraficantes que durante décadas han sido transmitidas por el canal.
