Para el director ejecutivo de Inter-American Trends, Antonio de la Cruz, “la producción de petróleo de Venezuela mantuvo el volumen por encima de los 500 mil b/d por segundo mes consecutivo. Lo que indica un incremento de la producción en las áreas que operan las Empresas Mixtas”.
Además, el director ejecutivo de Inter-American Trends señaló que “en Marzo, Venezuela exportó 506 mil bpd de petróleo, según la agencia TankerTrackers.com”. Una caída de 4% con respecto al mes anterior.
En marzo, los volúmenes de exportación fueron: 73 % a Destinos Desconocidos, 20 % a China y 7 % a Cuba.
Por otra parte, la empresa Baker Hughes reporta en su informe “International Rig Count” de marzo que no hubo actividad de taladro en Venezuela desde Octubre 2020. Es decir, hace 6 meses.
En cuanto al precio del barril de petróleo venezolano, la OPEP reportó el precio de referencia de Venezuela Merey en $ 46,47/ barril, un aumento de 8,4 % con respecto a febrero, colocándolo en $ 42,45/barril promedio anual.
